LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Chip Caray and Joe Simpson will once again be in the broadcast booth for Braves games carried by Fox Sports South and SportSouth this upcoming season.
Along with announcing the returns of Caray and Simpson on Wednesday, FOX Sports South also revealed that Kristina Fitzpatrick, formerly of MLB Network, will join the broadcast team. Fitzpatrick, Jenn Hildreth and Paul Byrd will share the reporter role that had been primarily handled by Tom Hart, who has opted to focus on his other opportunities in the sports broadcast world.
Like he has each of the past three seasons, Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Glavine will team with Caray and Simpson to serve as a special analyst for select games.
Jerome Jurenovich will also return to host Braves Live!, the pre- and post-game show that accompanies every game broadcast by Fox Sports South and SportSouth. Byrd, Brian Jordan and Matt Diaz will share the analyst duties for those shows.
Along with televising 155 regular-season games, FOX Sports South and SportSouth are broadcasting six Spring Training games.
